Business travel involves not only the procurement department, but also stakeholders from Finance, IT, Human Resources, Safety, and Communication – and of course the business traveler.
Travel buyers, therefore, find themselves in the center playing the role of conductors. To support them in this strategic mission, HRS has developed a unique exchange platform to bring all corporate ecosystem stakeholders together to focus on the subject of business travel with new speaker profiles.
For the first time ITM and HRS’ Corporate Lodging Forum partner to enrich hotel education for Business Travel Leaders. The Corporate Lodging Forum (CLF) will take place a day ahead of the ITM’s annual conference 2019 in Brighton and will take place on 29 April.
We look forward to meeting you there.
The author of Information is Beautiful, David McCandless describes himself as a data-journalist and information designer. His book is dedicated to pictorial representations of knowledge and data, using infographics to analyse the seemingly insurmountable amount of data that surrounds us.
David began his career writing about video games, and also hacking into them. He’s also been a web editor, a comedy writer, a conceptual copywriter and written on programming. His work merges data and visual design, and he has had pieces exhibited at MOMA in New York and Tate Britain and the Wellcome Collection in London.
In speeches David shows how we can turn complex data sets into beautiful, simple diagrams that tease out unseen patterns and connections. Data is meaninglesswithout context and David’s diagrams help us to understand numbers, find hidden patterns and draw conclusions.
